   Frances Black comenzó a cantar profesionalmente en 1986, cuando se unió a otros miembros de la familia Black para interpretar música irlandesa, tanto tradicional como contemporánea.

    Nacida en Portobelo, al sur de Dublín, hoy en día es una de las cantantes más populares y respetadas de Irlanda.
